On the occasion of ‘World Book Day’, the University Library and Department of Library & Information Science is pleased to invite you to join us in celebrating the Joy of Books and the Power of Knowledge.
The programme will include:
- A speaker session 'Booked for ever' by Prof. Ganesh Devy, Dean and Senior Professor of Eminence and Director of Centre of Civilisation Studies, Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
- Mrs. Amrita S. Somaiya, Trustee, SVV & Member BOM, SVU our esteemed Chief Guest will grace the event with her presence and will also honour our distinguished authors who have added to the academic world by publishing books.
-Guests of Honour: Prof. Shrikant Bahulkar and Prof. Kala Acharya — Honouring Their Outstanding Literary Contributions.
